Hi, looking up at my roof (3 storey building) I can see 4 small white pipes protruding from under the tiling. It looks like they should be feeding into the guttering but they have shifted and are now leaking directly onto the concrete below (just a constant dripping).

What are they and do I need to do anything about this?

The house was built around 1860 if that helps, I have no idea when it was last roofed.

Just on an outside chance do have a steam boiler there and the constant dripping is form that or AC. Was added and this is the condensation from that to the pipes under the tile that keeps dripping.

Explain the roof pitches better. Are these Pipes form an upper gutter system?

I'm assuming you have the old Box gutters given the age of the house. Could these pipes be the drop from those box gutters and it Appears its coming out of the roof overhang?

The only pipes normally out of a roof is

Plumbing vents

Radon vents

Downspouts from a box gutter to the ground or to another box gutter. Or just regular gutter to gutter.

Hi, the house is now split into 3 flats, there is no a/c in any of these... and I believe the top flat now has a combi boiler.

I'll take a picture of them and upload it tomorrow...

If these are the only pipes sticking through your roof they are likely vent stacks for your sewer drains.

How little is little? 3/4", 3'',
