    Loss of sex drive?
Hey, I may be having a serious problem? I'm only 19 and I think I'm losing it.
Last night I was with a girl, we've only been together for a few weeks. But I can't seem to keep an erection long enough for her to bring my to a climax. I believe this is because I don't masturbate very often, once or less a week. And even when I try to its hard to climax. I never really paid attention to it much, until last night. So I think my solution is to start to masturbate a bit more frequently so that it becomes more frequent for me to climax? Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. This really freaked me out.

Hi, welcome to the site =)

There are several things I'd like to ask/ point out.

Loss of sex drive is the natural urge and desire to have sex. Are you experiencing this?

    OR

The fact that you cannot keep an erection and climax?

I really don't think that maintaining an erection and being able to climax has much to go with how many times you do masturbate.

    Quick question?

Do you smoke pot? Believe it or not Marijuana use can causes impotence.

Yes I occasionally do smoke pot, but I believe if anything it kind of makes me more horny :$ orgasming while high is an amazing sensation.

It only makes you think that... its really a powerful depressant.

Sort of like alcohol on cold days... might make you think you feel warm but in fact it makes you loose body heat far faster.

How often have you been having sex in the last few weeks?

Was this a one time occasion? Occasionally, your body just might not be in the same mood your mind is.

Maybe it is the fact that you are sleeping with a girl that you have only known for a few weeks. Possibly you aren't ready to be intimate so fast.

Ugh... it happened again :( she just left my house an hour ago.
I feel like I've failed. Although this time neither of us climaxed... its an ongoing problem. And were not having sex yet. External stimulation only so far. I'm realling looking for a reason why I can't keep an erection? Is it the way she's touching me? Or is it me?

you might need to see a doctor at this point to see if there is any medical reason that you are losing the erection...if there is no medical reason, you are Probably just way too nervous...

Try laying off the weed and booze as a first step. Once you've done that, then stop looking at sex as the focus of time together... (don't say its not... Because I was your age once)

But view it more as a cap of a night together rather than the entire point of being together.

By worrying and constantly thinking about it you're making it more likely to happen again!! how about talking and getting to know this girl more? Watch a film or go out or something? By taking your mind off sex and feeling more relaxed and less pressured to perform your erection is more likely to come back on its own

That's more than enough to do it... it lingers in your system for quite a long time. It doesn't go through you like a beer does. Effects linger far beyond when the buzz wears off.
