Hay I'm 19 and I carryed on my pill about a week ago and a day ago I started getting dark discharge is this normal. I usually get it just after a period before I start takking my pill again. The last time I had sex was 2 weeks ago the condom broke but I had the morning after pill as well ! I hope the dark discharge is old blood from taking my pill when I was spose to be on my period !
Can any one offer any addvice please!?

Did you just start the pill a week ago? It is normal to have discharge or spot bleed when on the pill, especially the first 6 months or so.

However, the morning after pill is not always effective. If you notice no other symptoms & your period regulates, I would not worry.

If you are still anxious about it, you can always take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks to be sure.

Just a word of caution - Birth control pills are not always effective! Always use a condom. =)
