    Sci-Fi Show around the 80-90's
Hi I'm currently looking for this series I watching on Sci-Fi when I was a little kid. I don't remember much about it, except for the fact these people has blue eyes. They are battling an empire (humans) for their independent.

I remember in the end they were riding these sand worm in the last battle, everyone pitch in and cut off the commander head. One of the surrendering offer challenge the main character for a one on one battle and lost. There was also a woman offering to be his wife (an old g/f) but the main character refuse. Also the main character and his mother was part of the empire. But later on he became the leader of the resistance. His mother was pregnant, and give birth to a girl. They then also got blue eye after ward.

Sorry I watch this when I was a little kid so I don't remember much about it. But If you know of something similar to my description please let me know. Also most of my description was toward the end of the series or show.

It sounds like one of the three productions based on Frank Herbert's Dune books.

The earliest was a 1984 motion picture staring Kyle MacLachlan (currently in ABC's (US) Desperate Housewives), Patrick Stewart (later portrayed Captain Picard in Star Trek the Next Generation), and Dean Stockwell (later appering as Al in Quantum Leap and Cavel in the recent Battelstar Galactica)

There were also two mini series on SciFi channel (US) "Dune" (2000) and "Children of Dune" (2003)

YEs that sounds like Dune for sure. I believe the first CD of the mini-series (2000), has the scene where the people decapitate the nephew of, what ever the bid fat guys name is, and the Frenians I think they are called, sorry it's bin a while since I've watched it, are the ones with blue eyes. Fremin? Something like that.

    YouTube - DUNE - trailer (1984)
YouTube - Gloussu Rabban and the Harkonnen are defeated by the Fremen (2000) You may find the part at 5:50 to about 6:40 most interesting. The blue eyes are periodically throughout.
YouTube - Children of Dune Intro (This is the intro to children of dune.)

Great series. I liked it a lot. Muad'Dib, very interesting character.
