I just had a gay guy tell me he is attracted to me. Now, this was quite a shock because I am as straight as anyone can be. I sireously freaked out and was really disturbed. Has this ever happened to anyone else? How do you even reply to a question like if you are interested. The oother problem is that I work with this guy! :eek:

How do you respond to a woman in whom you are not interested? Don't freak out because he is a man. Simply explain that you are not interested, and move on. Now, if it is a continuous "hitting on" you that you might consider to be harassment, then you should be firmer. Either way, he is a human being who is romantically interested in you, and you need to try your best not to disrespect him because you do not share his sexual preference. After all is said and done, maybe you need to examine your own insecurities with homosexuality. This could be a good time for some personal growth. :)

Politely tell him your not interested. No need to freak out.

Not a big deal, seriously just tell him "I'm flattered but I am not interested"

The stereotype of all gay men being prissy and floating around like tinkerbell,is a stereotype.There are many macho gay men,they are people first and come in all shapes and sizes.So relax.He was just testing the waters and it does not make you less of a straight man.
Just tell him friendship is cool but your straight.No biggie.
