Well, I am 33 weeks pregnant and me and the father broke up. He's military and threatens me wit taking my child away and going to court. Then later, he takes it all back when I tell him fine we'll go to court if that's what you want. He backs off and tells me how did it get like this, us arguing. What is his deal? He says he wants to be a part of our lives then says he wants nothing to do with us, and then tells me he wants nothing to do wit me, and wants the baby only. I've been igoring it, cause he being a little kid about everything.

It is called emotional black mail. I do not know the reasons. Has he had a traumatic experience in the military? Suffering from any kind of depression?

Do not put up with the threats. Either he wants to be with you and the baby or not.

Eventually you might have to make the decision to leave, you both need counseling.

Your child's father has some issues he needs to work out apart from you. You can not let him force you to ride on this emotional roller coaster.
