Did you check your hot water heater to see if its heating hot water?Or the breaker is tripped, or the pilot light is lit and the gas valve is not working and the thermocouple is bad to let that valve open for heater to fire up. The automatic electric lighter to light the gas had gone bad ?

If this is an electric hot water heater you could have a bad element in the heater.
A dip tube in the heater could also be bad and now the water is like warm at best.

Are you in a place where it freezes and a line could be frozen?

Maybe, your valve on top of your hot water heater is closed..
Maybe no gas going into the hater ? Maybe no pilot on ?
    Maybe breaker tripped?

Check all of those out and let us know what you found out...
