Loading line for a weed eater
Looking at the bottom of a single line weed eater, do you load the line clockwise or counterclock wise so it will lengthen when you tap the ground?

You should load it so that excess line will hit the blade side of the length trimmer.

Look closely at the spool, usually there is a graphic which tells you which way to wind.

Ditto.. there is usually a arrow molded into it, showing you the direction.. there is also a tiny hole... insert the end of the string in there till it stops going in and then wind it... that hole helps to hold the line in. Believe its counterclockwise though...

I want to know how to put the string in, but my graphic shows to wind counter-clockwise.

What I do is cut the line for the weed eater then put the middle of the line on the part you wrap it on then wrpa it around two times then put line in the holes and close the cap and go.
