    D/W drains during wash cycle
    Greetings,

My nephew took apart the spray arms in a GE D/W to clean debris out of the filter.

Now, the D/W will drain water while it is washing the dishes. Eventually, there is no water for the clean cycle.

The Rinse cycle appears to function properly.

On many GE units there is a drain flapper valve that operates on a selonoid at the pump motor assembly. Just taking apart the spray are should not cause a pump out problem during the wash cycle but recheck the assembly to make sure it was reassembled correctly.
