How many gfi outlet I can put in kitchen on one circuit?
There is no limit. Just use common sense.
Typical would be 3 or 4. Some areas do have code limits though.
Down here, you can only have 2 duplex recepticles on 1 circuit and should be on GFI, not counting the frig on its own circuit.
I believe it may be also a minimum of 2 circuits not counting the frig. If I am wrong, I appologize, codes change, areas are different.
If it's a foot or more of counter space, you need a receptacle.
Mavon, if you read the instructions and follow them you only need one GFCI. The rest of the duplexes can be protected by the first GFCI in the circuit.
I believe that in my area, you are required to have two small appliance circuits in the kitchen. You need, therefore, at least two GFCIs. You can put the GFCI in the breaker box. It's much more expensive, but I prefer it.
Perito, is it 2 recepticles per circuit in Kitchen, from your area?
