    My ex husband and I have joint custody of our children with him being primary, he just got up and moved to Florida with my children with out my concent.. is it true that if he wanted to that he would have to go through the court system first instead of moving the way he did, I was told that he could not move over 100 miles with out letting me know.. it that true I really need some help

    That is true and him moving like he did needs to be addressed in court. He may be compelled to move back or give up custody - that's up to a court.

    If his move prevents you from following the visitation schedule set by the court, then it certainly is a violation of the court order.

    I would be in court tomorrow morning asking that he be cited for contempt of court and compelled to move back or to have primary custody assigned to you.
