    Fixture units are designated by the load they place upon a drainage system.
    Since a yard hydrant, a sll cock or hose bib has no drain they do not have fixture units assigned. Regards, Tom

    When we talk about yard hydrants we usually tak in terms of FACTOR VALUES... ;)

    In my area we don't define a yard hydrant specifically, but my code does discuss factor values for water pipes at a certain size.

    What size pipe will be feeding the yard hydrant? Let me know that and we will see what we can come up with...
