Does anyone know how visitation works in Al Burruss Correctional Training Center/ my husband just got transferred there and I want to go visit him but I live 1 1/2 hrs away and I don't want to make the trip all the way down there for nothing. visitation is Sunday so if anyone has any information please let me know. I've already tried calling the offices but whenever I get transferred to someone who knows, I always get the voice mail machine and it's driving me crazy that they won't pick up or call back. I hope someone can help me

Would suggest that you call the non emergency number at the local county Sheriff's office that this facility is in and ask them this question. They may have either another phone number for you to call or may have some information for you on this facility and rules regarding visitation. Sometimes you have to go around the problem to get to the answer. Have you also tried the internet to see if there is any info online for the facility?

I just spoke with a correctional officer at this facility and I was told that visitation for inmates with the lastname(s) ending with K-Z is Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
