    If you had a drawing that'll have helped. I suggest you make use of Flemming's left hand rule.

    Isn't flemings left hand rule applicable in the motion of electron in a magnetic field?

    A.E - yes, you are correct. For a charged particle in an electric field the force experienced by the particle is

    F= qE

    Indeed, at that time, I didn't even know the equations F = Eq, F = BQv, etc... I was on my first year and charged particles came next year in April itself :rolleyes:

    Indeed and I keep learning new things, well, it'll be more of a stop in science while accounting and stuff is starting :p
