    Song meaning
I just have a quick question about the song walk through that is bothering me. It would be great if someone could clear this up for me.

In the chorus it says "id walk through hell for you" - does that mean that they would walk through hell to get the person that they wanted and save them from what they are dealing with so they will be with them OR does it mean that they would walk through hell for them so they didn't have to?

    Thanks for the help!

Walk Through - By: Say Anything

    And if I could swim
Id swim out to you in the ocean
Swim out to where you were floating in the dark
    And if I was blessed
Id walk on the water you're breathing
To lend to some air for that heathing sunken chest
Cause they choose you as the model
    For their empty little dreams
With your new head and your legs spread
    Like a filthy magazine
And they hunt you and they gunt you
    And you give in
    And if I was brave
Id climb up to you on the mountain
They led you to drink from their fountain
    Spouting lies
    And id slave
    The horrible beast they commissioned
Stear me away from my mission
    To your eyes
And id stand their like a solider
With my foot upon his chest
With my grin spread and my arms out
    And my bloddstained sundays best
And you'd hold me and id remind you you are
    Under their shell

    CHORUS:
Id walk through hell for you
Let it burn right through my shoes these
    Soles are ussless without you
    Through hell for you
Let the tourtoring into my soul
    Its ussless without you

And if they send a worhlwind
Id look it like a harmless little dream
Or an earthquake id calm it and id bring it back to me
And id hold you in my weak arms like a weak child

    CHORUS

Now I walked through hell for you
    What's an adventurer to do
But rest my feet at home with you

I think it could be both? It doesn't necessarily mean that the other person is in hell or is going to hell, but I think that the person is willing to do whatever it takes for the other person. Kind of like, "I'd walk a thousand miles for you"

Geez I hate christian music... Why does everything have to be so literal? It means the person would go to any extreme for the other person in the song. It's soooo simple!
