Ok, I am in middle school and I really like this guy, but Im too shy to talk to him.:( He is very hot and I think Im at least Ok pretty. So why doesn't he notice me? Ive never felt this way about a guy before! Its like almost every night I dream about him!

I started liking him when the school play started. He was the leading man and I was the leading woman. I fell for him instantly without even talking to him! But about a week after we started practicing he quit.. . I think it was because of me.

After that I started trying to get him to notice me BUT NOTING WORKED! I guess I just need to relax. Any tips?

My advice to you is to be yourself and strike up a friendship with him. Find some common ground between the two of you. Do you share any of the same interests with him? If so, that's a great start!

Also, maybe put together a group outing (bowling, the movies, the mall, whatever... ) and invite him to join the group. That is a great chance to get to know him better!

In middle school, guys are still pretty independent and most are not looking for a long term relationship. It's an age where school dances equal girls standing on one side of the gym and boys standing on the other.

Your best approach would definitely be to set up a group hang.

Hello! I was in the same situation once. There was this HOT guy and all I wanted was to be friends with him. Soo, I would smile whenever I passed him or saw him. And occasionally in the halls or after school i would say hey on my way to the bus... then his girlfriend (who is my good good friend) gave me his phone numner. I texted him and said it was me. We chatted a lot and then we became great friends. but the only reason i became his friend is because I was a friend to HIM. and i was being myself by smiling and waving. so BE YOURSELF!! and good luck :)

You have never even talked to him.
Before you even TRY to pursue a relationship, you should get to know him. For all you know, he has 10 cats, and you hate cats. (just an example. I don't know if you hate cats or if he has any)
It seems to me that it is your hormones that like him, not you. You need to at least know him, because for all you know you could be completely incompatible.
However, you MAY be perfect for each other. Again, get to know each other. Be yourself, and hope he does the same, and you may find you have a lot in common.

Whatever it turns out to be, you need to get to know HIM before you should do anything else.
