Hi, I'm new to this site and I was wondering if anybody know's the answer to my nieces predicament, she dyed her hair about 5 weeks ago with Swartskoft XXL Black hair dye, she has done this several times and never experienced a problem, now when she is washing her hair she still has dye coming out from it! She had no dye coming out when rinsed, so it was done properly. I cannot understand why she is having this problem, can anyone advise me?:confused:

It sounds like her hair is very porous. If that's so, she's damaged her hair to the point where it will no longer hold color. How light has her hair become since dyeing it?

The only real fix is to let the hair grow out. She can dye the new growth, if she wishes.

There are some products that claim to help this. Some of them might work a little bit.

Thank you for that, her hair is very flat looking, it has no shine on it at all, the problem she has is she drematically changed her colour from a blonde/brown to deep black (not with the approval of her parents and family) so her hair looks awful with her roots showing.
