    If I am a french citizen working in the Us with out us citizenship and I marry a us citizen do I become an american citizen?

    If you marry an American you can take on their citizenship. However, if its just a marriage to gain citizenship the INS might disavow it.

    No, you will not gain citizenship if you get married. Because people were getting married just to obtain a citizenship they changed the law a couple of years ago.
