    My Dog is Stumbling Around?
I am trying to figure out what could be wrong with my dog. She is a 8.5 year old female chocolate lab. One minute she is acting normal, and then she is walking into things and falling down. Seems like she can't see, trembles a bit, and acts strange. I was thinking that it could be her having minor strokes? When the episode passes, she seems back to her old self, though she takes a nap. This has happened twice, and the first one happened after playing ball..

    Any suggestions or thoughts?

    KISS

Have dog checked out by a Vet. Could be Epelepsy. Here is a link, but unfortunately not the full article of an epelepsy monitor for a dog. Doggie 911

I did read the full article.

If she's at all overweight, she could be getting dizzy spells from high blood pressure, particularly after exercise. Eight is about the time extra pounds can start causing problems like this. Another, less serious, possibility is the start of a cataract over an eye. KISS was dead on when he said it's veterinarian time.

Why are you on this site. I have the same dog as you, but a little older. Sounds like mini stroke. You need too get her to the vet asap.
