I've heard that dermabrasion can help get rid of acne scars. There are other treatments as well. Consult a dermatologist to find the treatment best suited for you.

What do you mean 3 doses of accutane. That is a very strong, radioactive med that you take over a course of time and have to sign waivers on stuff like not getting preganant for the time of treatment. Have you been self medicating?

No joke, its not one dose right after another this has been over a period of 6 years and yes there are a bunch of tests and waivers that have to be done. No I am not joking or selfmedicating.my acne is pretty much gone but there is still redness and scars and I want to avoid craters on my face

There are over the counter dermabrasion kits you can use at home but if they are really bad(the scars) you should probably see a dermatologist. They can answer all your questions and suggest the best treatment for you. And, oh yeah, they went to school for this kind of stuff! Lol:)

I'm glad to hear you acne has almost gone.
This is probably going to sound nuts but listerine is a great acne spot treatment. Obviously you don't use it on your whole face because it not only stings but dries your skin out nut on single break outs it dries them out and kills the bacteria.

As for the scars, there are a few over the counter products available but consulting a dermatologist is the best way to go :)
