OK if got a 87 Murray with a 12hp Briggs and it won't start. Wheni turn the key on the fuze doesn't blow until I hit the starter but if I jump the starter at the sylanoid it fires up just fine it's not the key switch I don't think and all the wireing is almost new and looks perfectly fine... :confused:

So you do blow the fuse when you turn your key all the way to start, right? This would tell me a short in the ignition switch or the wires from the switch to the starter.
