Tax refund rule for stay lesser than 180 days in US
    Hi,

I'm working for a firm here in US for a indian company. I'm working project from Feb'08 and is getting over on July 10th 2009 after which I'll be going back to india. I have been to India on vacation from Dec 20 - Jan 15th.
I would like to know in case I'm eligible for entire tax refund for this year since I spent less than 180 days in USA, starting from Jan 16th or I'm not since I was working here before and went on vacation, so basically I would like to know how the 180 days is calculated :p

    Regards,
    Viny

You have already spent more than 183 days in the U.S.
Did you receive W2 or 1099-misc for work done in the U.S. Which visa do you have?
