My ex is in the rears 6 weeks as of this years (*that by 90.00=630.00) plus 2 last year (180.00) together he's 810.00. He's only pay but only 540.00 for 2 boys (ages 10and 11) this year, so I had the child support remodified and got it up to 700. A month and but it has not go into in effect yet. So what I want to know what is the limit before the license can be taken a way or he go to jail or something like that.

I got the CS to remodified by the CS Enforcement and I'm just waiting for them (CS Enforcement) to write up the paper work and we have to sign it. Then we r going to be taking it out of his pay, when ever that will be

I wish I could say today, but to be honest first normally they look at how many months and how much money he is behind, They don't look at it in weeks,

So he is maybe 2 months behind ? While that is behind, most likely being under 1000 behind and barely 2 months behind they are not going to take his license, as for as going to jail, that is up to the law of the state you are at.

Are you taking hm back to court to have him held in contempt for being behind ? But at this point nothing is going to happen until CS enforcement start working on it.

Have you considered getting a garnishment of his pay check for your money each week.

I believe the OP means her ex is in arrears.

They are not going to take his license away or send him to jail over such a minor about of arrearages.

Yes, and as the other participant said, the term is "arrears" (as "in arrears") or "arrearages", whichever you prefer. :-)

It sounds like your either missing some steps here or were not getting the whole story. They can't just raise his child support to whatever " you " say and then have it taken out of his paycheck. There would have to be a review first. Then it needs to be signed off by a judge.

I do have one other question.. why all the hate??
