Contact the adoption agency used.

Contact the courthouse in the county where the adoption took place.

Register on reunion sites like ISSR, adoption.com and adoption.org

Finally--get counseling about the whole thing. Sometimes birthfamilies do not WANT to be contacted, and you may need to be prepared for that.
