Adequate wire size for 5- fixture circuit ?
I'm on the home stretch in a garage to apt remodel. One remaining task is to put 5 , single lamp fixtures on the exterior wall. The power is a 12/2 nm, 20 amp breaker circuit from panel to switch, roughed in the wall to the center fixture box location. This will also be the j-box for the remaining fixtures. I am going to have to do some fishing and finessing to get the wire from the j-box to the fixtures. Each fixture will have a single 60 watt lamp. My questions: Would it be easier to pull 14-2 nm to the other fixtures? Can I use 14- 2 ? Is it worth getting a 25' roll of 14-2 or should I just stick to 12-2nm? Every other circuit has been pulled in 12-2 or 12-3
    Thanks, packrat

Do not change wire sizes. By doing so you are only wasting the larger wire since you MUST use the breaker appropriate for the smallest wire on the circuit.

Either use all #14 or all #12. If you used #12 everywhere else it makes no sense to change it now.
