    Mirror breaking
    Several years ago...
I had a dresser with a very large mirror sitting on it. Within 2 months this mirror broke 4 times. Id have it replaced and it would break again. It would just fall down. One day it really looked like someone just knocked it down in front of me. And this mirror was not easy to move it was aheavy mirror. Was this a ghost? Why do you think this was happening?

    Hi, xyz2009!

In what way was it attached to the dresser, please?

    Thanks!

It sat on top of the dresser and against the wall. It was not hooked or attached to the wall.It was detached from both the dresser and the wall. But it was at least 1 yard and a half long. It was fine for close to 5-6 years then all of a sudden this happened over and over

Was it level on the dresser and placed in such a way so that it's wouldn't be likely to tip over?

I'm not trying to discount that something of the paranormal might have been happening. However, I think that it would be wise to look at all of the possible logical explanations first as to why this might have happened.

    Thanks!

The only way this heavy mirror could fall over and break was it two strong men lifted it and or knocked it down. It had become the talk of the family this mirror. Like I said it had been sitting on my dressser for about 6 years. We were never able to figure out why and as Ive come across this site I thought maybe I should ask it here. Chances of it tipping over I wouldn't even want to say were %1

If things were really secure and level, then I would suspect that something of the paranormal might have been happening. I've witnessed a rag being lifted off a table with nobody touching it and a painting falling down for no apparent, logical reason.

Has something like that happened since in your life?

    Thanks!

Yes, Ive had a balloon in the house follow me. I was watching TV and realized that the balloon is moving , so I thought oh well its just a light weight ballon it going to move. But when I got up to go to the kitchen it followed me then into the bedroom. I knew something was weird but it didn't scare me.

Clough, did you read the question I had a about touching water ? That salso in this paranormal category

A balloon following you could have been due to static electricity.

I'll take a look at your other question.

    Thanks!
