    Hampton Bay ceiling fan.
    The fan has a remote control. It has worked fine for 10 years. Battery in remote is good. Switch on wall in "on" position. Fan or light won't work. What do I need to do to get it to work? Thank you!

    When you press abutton on the remote do you see a small red light come on?
