I'm looking into financing a used car. The car year is a 2005, very pretty and is about $12,800. I have never finaced a vehicle before but I'm in the postiion where I kind of have to right now.

I'm one of the millions of Americans without a job right now. I live out in the boonies and I have had serveral job offers that pay good money. The problem is I have no transportation to them. (No buses or taxi's either) My family only has two cars (sister & Mother) but both work full-time.

I have been doing my ressearch and the monthly payments for the auto loan would be about $120/month for 10 years. I was thinking about asking my famlily to pay the monthly payments until I do get a job and I will pay them back.

Does anyone know if there is any type of help for this type of situation?

I don't know what kind of help you're looking for. If you need a car, the way you're talking about financing it sounds good to me.

You can find some blank promissory notes at your local office supply store. Just fill one of those out, and sign it - assuming you find somebody to finance you.
