Old hillbilly folk wisdom: plant mums and marigolds around the garden to keep critters out. Mums do have a natural insecticide (pyrethrum) so logic says marigolds should keep rabbits out of the veggies and into the snares. Rabbit pie -- yum-o!

A 24 inch wire fence comes to mind. Set it tight to the ground - rabbits aren't usually aggressive enough to dig under it unless they are starving.

Tractor Supply Company - Cage Wire, 2 ft. x 25 ft.
