What would cause water to spurt out of my clean out vent
What would cause water to spurt out of my clean out vent? How should I address this problem? Would a clogged pipe do that? If so where would the clog be?

    Thank you
    Eric

You definitely have a clog somewhere in the line on past the cleanout that you spoke of.

You have a blockage downstream from the clean out. I nassume this cleanout's on a vertical stack in your basement and not out in your yard. The so;lution would be to rent a sewer machine<(see image) from your local Rent All and snake from the cleanout. Do not flush, drain or dunp any water upstairs while the clean out's open. II'm begainiung to wonder if you have a inhouse clog why it isn't coming up out of the basement flo0or drain. Where exactly is the clewanout located? I'll w3ait on your answer before Ifinish with the solution. Tom
