    Whirlpool tub flexible tubing
I just bought a American Std. Whirlpool tub open box from Lowe's. I noticed that there are a couple of ~3/16" flexible lines (tygon tubing) that are not connected to anything. One clear blue and is from the water return port. This has what looks to be a small plastic fitting (check valve?) on the end with a male nipple on it.

The flexible tube other is a black tube from the electrical box that sits on top of the pump.

I figure that it could be some sort of standpipe or vent, but not quite sure.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Tom,

Not exactly. It's a 2425.118W.020 "Hampton" I can't find any repair documentations on the am std website.
This one is kind of close.

I think I figured out the black one as the tube to the on/off switch- apparently actuated by air. Here's a picture of the blue tubing. I'm starting to think it's a bypass for the pump in case the tub drain is blocked.
