I have a Dell inspirion laptop, can I use a card for wireless connection ?
Hi, I have a Dell inspirion laptop and am looking for a way to surf the net. I also have a router but do not know how to hook it up and am missing a certain cable. I would like to know if my Dell would support a wireless card like a D-link and I could use that to connect to the world wide web and go from room to room, I also have a hewlit packard desktop. Any information would be welcomed, thanks in advance...

You may have built in wireless.
The Router needs to be wireless.
Your computer should support most wireless cards. You need a phone line cord from DSL jack to modem, network cable from modem to wireless router, and a network cable for setup of your router.
