I am a Filipino residing in the Turks and Caicos Islands on a temporary work permit. My friend and I would like to visit Bahamas. Where do I apply for a Bahamas Visa from here?

Also, my friend wants to stay longer for more than 6 months as a tourist here in the Turks and Caicos. How will that work? Any steps that I need to take?

As a visitor, there is no guarantee that you will get 6 months stay.. it depends on decision of immigration officer at port of entry.

What is exactly the purpose of this trip? If you want to go to work, get employment based visa... don't jeopardize your status...
