I really need your guys's aid
Well as most of you probably already know my mom has what the doctors believe is MS. About 17 years ago a doctor even diagnosed her with this disease, but the tests keep coming up negative.

Either way the signs are still there. Loss of memory, difficulty with her speech and balance and in turn she must walk with a cane. SHe is better then last year as she used to have to walk with two canes and was unable to drive. She did start driving again and walks with only one cane.

Her physiotherapist has told her the more sh can walk the better. So we do go for walks quite a bit, me her and rex. When I walk with her I let her take rex and he walks really good with her, right at her heel, most of the time. We are still in training, so there are a few kinks left to work out.

I just came back from a walk with him, and I know when I walk he walks by my side, and I figured it would be great if my mom could go for walks with him while I was in school.

I mean I always worry about her going alone, so I figured I wouldn't worry if she had rex with her. Plus she said that he helps with her balance and make her feel more steady.

Any tips for teaching Rex and my mom how to master the heel. It would be beneficial to her health and mine as well as I wouldn't always be worrying.

Rex123. Just on a side note I went through many MRI's and what the doctors thought may be MS. It a lot to do with the "gray matter" in the brain areas. The reason I'm posting this is the negative test not showing MS. I also was negative, I still have problems and I, finding for me its in the spinal area base of neck. Test for anything there were negative but it comes and goes.

I believe that like fibrosis is similar. By no means I'm anything close to a medical expert let alone things in the medical field.

I remember a pre teen girl that had the exact systems for M.S. and they doctors diagnosed her with it but it tested negative, Now a teen, this girl felt well enough to go to a summer camp and while there talking to her room mate she found out her roommate was diagnosed with the same disease. But it wasn't M.S. It was a rare condition that was treated and she was fine. I can't remember the medical show I saw this in T.V.

Not trying to mess with your head or hopes here. But M.S. can be miss diagnosed too.

The Little girl I talked about above had all the M.S. problems and systems so bad, some weeks here fingers would twist and curl. That room mate she through unbelievable luck went through the same thing and several doctors said M.S. ans it wasn't. Don't know if you want to go down that road but the "test not showing it" hit me and I thought of the medical show I saw on T.V. 2 years ago. It was about misdiagnosed M.S. cases.
