What is the boil off rate of water at 212F?
A tank of water is at 212F and 14.7 psia (atmospheric), with a constant submerged heat supply of 1.7e7 Btu/hr. The tank height is 40 ft, and 52x28 ft. The room is at atmospheric conditions at 110F (and does not pressurize or heat up).
What is the water boil-off rate? Thanks.

    Anka Software

Latent heat of evaporation for water - 2,270 kJ/kg

The evaporation / boil off rate will be = (Heat supply 1.7e7 Btu/hr) / latent heat of evaporation in the correct unit
