Can I have a shower spray wall in a bathtub
I added a shower spray wall to the guest bathroom in our home under construction. After the walk through we noticed there was no faucet to get water into the tub, just the 4 wall sprays and the shower head. The builder is now telling me that there is no way to have both the shower wall sprays and the spout to add water to the tub. Is this correct, or are they just trying to avoid correcting their mistake.

You have a mixing valve and raiser to the shower heads. Simply tee offd the raiser down to a diverter spout.(see image) and you have a typical spout/ valve/ shower head hook up. Or if the mixing valve has a 1/2" brass plug in the base of the valve body the plug can be removed and a drop to a spout can be added. What does your plumber find so difficult about that? Good luck with him. Tom
