    Flying within us with expired visa?
    Hello,a friend of mine his visa expired long time ago I think 2000, but his pps is valid.since then he is afraid to flying within us.do you thing he can't or tsa they will just look for her pic?can he be deported?thanks.

    Personally not recommend. I have seen people being escorted out by immigration officers at the airport twice in Chicago and twice in SF during 2007 and 2008.

    If you have US government issued ID then it's OK, but using passport with expired visa is not recommended.
