Hi, I have a new air conditioner it's a split type, the outside fan worked just fine for about hour , and then stopped

If I put a portable fan in front of the unit the Air Con works fine, but without it the Matrix in the unit just gets too hot and stops, until its cooled down.

The Company who installed it went out of business so I can't get any help from them.

It is manufactured in China with a Brand Name on it. I have been on to this site and have worked out that they make for Toshiba Samsung and many others, I was told to get a new Start Run condenser, I have tried but every one I have asked looks baffled by it. It looks about the same size as a matchbox and has writing on it.:mad

Any help you can give me would be gratefully received.

Do you put the portable fan on the unit outside or on the inside. I really don't understand what you problem is the way you describe it... send more info.

I place the potable stand fan outside the unit, the problem seems to be the outside units fan is not starting, although it ran for half an hour prior to the problem happening.
If I run the air con now it only runs for about 5 minutes and leaves the house red hot,
In short the outside unit matrix is not being cooled.
