On your generation of Honda, starting and dieing problems tend to be related to spark plugs, ECM, coil-on-plugs (COPs), and Crankshaft Position Sensor. If your platinum spark plugs have more than 36,000 miles or 3 years on them, I would get them replaced. Only use the exact NGK spark plugs that came in the car. If the problem persists, I would next focus on the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Replacing a MAP Sensor is suspicious--they tend to be very reliable. In fact, I have never seen one go bad.
