Could there be any possible consequences of asking my husband to move out of our house prior to filing for a divorce? We have two children and reside in Michigan. Any advices is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If he does not want to leave you can't "force" him to leave just because you want to divorce him. You can't evict him either.

There could be consequences for him - he could be seen as abandoning the marriage.

His Attorney will advise him NOT to move out and you cannot force him out although you can get a Court Order to remove him if he is violent or otherwise a danger to you and your children.
