Cost of moving a light switch
Cananyone tell me how much I should pay to move a lightswitch? I have three light switches in my hall way, a double light switch for the stairs and kitchen, and underneath the double light switch,is a single light switch for the frontroom. I wantto take the switches away, and put one in the kitchen(where it should be), put a switch it the front room, and move the stair light switch near the street door. I have been given a price of £55 per switch, is that the average price? Many thanks

With "old work" (work in existing structures, particularly hidden wiring) you have to look at it to give an estimate. You may have to have carpentry and drywall work done.
