    I received 10 years green card then a I-291 1 year later.
    Hello Dear.

First I really appreciate you taking the time to volunteer your time. I got married in Jan 2002, I had interview in March 2002, then I got another interview in April 2004. I never got a conditional in the midtime just Work permit only!
Finally in Nov 2005 I was approved I-181, creation of record on website show approval of permanent residency. My wife and I we were married 2 years and 9 months, she send a letter to INS saying that she wanted to withdraw the affidafit of support because she wanted s divorce!
In the midtime I received the 10 years greean card but when I received it we were already separated for about 6 Months... I was hoping to get back with her, but she met someone on business trip in san franscisco and she said she fell in love with him and she wanted that divorce.
1 year after my green card approval(10years)

I received a I-291 in September of 2006 informing that upon consideration my application for permanent residency be denied. The reason was The visa petition supporting your application has been revoked, since you are not longer the beneficiary of a valid unexpired visa petition, you are inegelible for asdjustment, pursuant 8 CFR 245.1 (C)(4) YOUR application is there for denied!

I call the INS and they told me my green card is still valid and the denial doesn't show anywhere in my records! I got an attorney and he couldn't figure it out, I travelled since then 3 time to Europe and pass the Immigration costums no problems even when they slide my card in a machine.

So is my green card revoked? Will I be able to files Citizenship?
It as been almost 3 years since I got that letter and I never received a NTA or Deportation or removal letter.

Do you know what 's up?

Can they take my green card away?

I know its complicated, I really need help should I be worry.

Just so you know she send the letter in November of 2005 the Month of my green card approval, also were were still living together during the 2 second interviews. She left me 6 months after it.

    Thanks

    Please help!

Normally divorce does not jeopardize your status after you become LPR (with 10 yrs GC). The reason you received that denied letter is because your ex wife withdrew sponsorship. It's clerical mistake. However, to make sure it's a mistake, have your attorney verified your status before applying for naturalization... you don't want a surprise receiving removal order by then.

My mother recently applied for removal of conditions I-751. She travelled overseas and upon landing in Manila, a letter in the states was received by her daughter saying she was denied. She immediately flew back ---good thing her passport was stamped.
