What would be a good rule of thumb to use in determining fair painting prices (i.e. square foot, by room, hourly, etc.) - this would be for simple painting with little if any preparation.
Thanks!

Hello mhargy12,
I suggest you understand your business model and who and what you are painting. For free you can get a great idea as to what it might cost to paint a room based on national averages. Go to mypaintbid.com click free estimate, enter your e-mail address, you can use Quick Estimator three times to budget yourself by answering a couple of easy questions (one of them standard, economy or custom) click economy click and read the help button what's included). The estimate will be sent to your e-mail address within minutes, this tool is designed for consumers to plan and budget themselves.
Hope this helps,
MyPaintBid, free estimates
Try tis MYREMODELINGPROJECT.COM and then maybe compare to a bid from an actual painting contractor. I think you will find it to be fairly accurate. You did not say but are your hiring someone or are you planning to bid on a project. Skill level, license, location all greatly affect the price.
