    Worked in US(L1B visa) for less than 180 days,will I get tax refund
    This is Priya from india ,I worked in US(Tennesse state) from May 2008 through October 31st 2008(less than 180 days).since there is only 15 days left for me to file my tax ,need to know will I get tax returns if I file tax?

    My employer has already withheld the federal income tax, TN state income tax, social security tax in my monthly salary.



    Can I do E-file?If not what is the procedure for me file my tax?


    Please help me!

    If you were not present in the U.S. in 2006, 2007, then you will file nonresident tax return. You must file your tax return.
    Nonresident tax return can not be efiled.
