Hey so real quick. I dated this girl for a year we broke up. Mutual but we both felt bad afterwards. Took me a while to get over her. This girl I worked with became my good friend. She then left the job, and got a new one. I just turned 19 like two days ago by the way. She was cool, and we both started to have feelings for each other. The problem is she is 16 and won't be 17 until the early summer. I am creeped out about the age but I do like her. She is a really good girl. I want to wait until she turns 17 because then everything is legal in the state of Illinois. I have no intention of going out with her for sex I am just saying people talk. She is a junior I am a freshman in college. What should I do wait? Or just forget the whole thing?

If she really truly is important to you then wait. If you can't see yourself with her for the rest of your life, there's no point in disappointing a girl much younger than you.

If you think she will be interested in you than you wait.

Know that during the time you are waiting you are closing the door to other potential relationships.

Personally,I would not put my life on hold for what *could be in the future*.
