    Capitol One Bank served
I was served for a Capitol One Bank debt. Two weeks prior, the same law company sent me a settlement plan that included a 35% reduction in fees. Do I pay the debt with this reduction, or do I still have to go to court?

You waited two weeks,? Did you sign it and agree to it ?

At this point if you agree to the plan, you need to show up and show you are under the plan.

Most likely after a couple of days when you did not respond, they went ahead with the court action

Like Fr_Chuck asked, did you agree to the settlement that you were mailed prior to being sued? Or did you ignore it?

Most settlement offers have an expiration date on them, usually 30 days. However, they may have only given you 2 weeks to respond; the settlement offer may have expired already and now they're just suing you for the money.
