Babysitter - How do I bring a person from Colombia?
Hello I have a friend of the family who is also a nurse for babies in colombia with a lot of experience. She is interested in coming to take care of the baby as my wife is going to start her residency as a doctor and I work a lot.
She tried to obtain a visa as a visitor three weeks ago and got denied because I sent a letter inviting her to come to visit to help us with the baby for a month.
We do not know 100% if we want her to stay with us so we want to wait a month and decide. We are going to pay her and she will be living with us. All expenses paid.
What do I do now? Is there a visa I can ask for her? Please help.
    Thank you.

No visa for babysitter or nanny...

If she is a RN, she may be able to find a job that the employer is willing to sponsor employment visa for her. As an individual, you are not eligible to sponsor visa for her.
