    Post-Release Supervision in NC
Can anyone describe for me what this is like when a person gets out of prison in NC - class D charge? I've heard it's usually 9 months probation but I've heard the first 3 months are 'intensive'. What is 'intensive' like? What are the remaining 6 months like? Expected behaviors, etc.
Do you know if this can be transferred to a different state if the wife moves out of NC before inmate is released?

    Hello lexy:

I don't know about the other stuff, but you can absolutely transfer probation when your family moves... As a matter of fact, it's EASIER if you move before he gets out, because he'll be released directly to that state. This assumes there is enough time to get it done.

If he's getting out next week there ain't enough time...
