    Tools used to find water leaks
    Please help.
    I have a water leak under my concrete slab that runs from my water heater to my bathroom. I need too know what type of tool would be used to find the location of the leak os I can repair it.

    There are companys out there that specialize in locating under slab leaks. In my area we used Sleuth. Water, like electricity, will; seek the path of least resistance. This means the hot spot you feel in your slab might be from a hidden leak some distance away. These companys come in, Locate the leask, jackhammer up the floor, dig down , bare the leak and bag the dirt. All we have to do is drain the system,repair the leak and patch the flooir.
    Another repair would be to locate the manifold in the wall, locate the branch that's leaking and repipe overhead in the attic. Good luck, Tom
