This has been going on for awhile. Like today she called me on the phone asked what I was doing? We talked awhile and I said I had my days and nights mixed up again. She like that's ridiculous to sleep all day. That's just a example, that she just don't understand my bipolar and other disorders. She tries to tell me I don't need to be on the medication that I am on for my disorders. If I'm not on any I get suicidal and depressed and hipper etc. I tell her I am doing what my doctor says and she tries to play doctor and tell me how to take them. I know she means well but I just can't get her to understand me and my disorders. I think she is in denial or something. Please help?:(

In this case mother isn't always right.

You've got this under control, and no matter what you said she would want to debate if it's the right thing to do.

While she may mean well, unless you ask her politely not to ask about that part of your life, and change subjects when you do, she won't change.

I am happy though, that you are not taking her advice. :)
